2022 NAIA Invitational Finals: Adaugo Nwachukwu (Iowa Wesleyan) vs Gracie Figueroa (Menlo)
"I chose this match because it was my first national championship and it boosted my confidence a lot. It hyped me up to wrestle in the world championships, too. I also won the outstanding wrestler award at this tournament, which was kind of exciting for me."
2022 U20 World Championships Bronze Medal Match: Adaugo Nwachukwu (USA) vs Bermet Nuridin Kyzy (KGZ)
"I chose this match because of the cultural experience. It was my first ever world/international competition and winning a bronze medal was not the goal but it still made me feel one step closer to my goal of winning it next year."
2022 U20 World Team Trials, Match 3: Adaugo Nwachukwu vs Skylar Hattendorf
"I chose this match because it was a test of my grit. Losing the first match only made me hungry to come out harder for the next two matches. At the end of the match, I didn’t get scored on so this was huge for me."
