Reminder:
School will still be in session until 4:05. When you arrive you will be seated in the gym for your safety and the safety of our students. There will be no area to park buses on the west side starting at 12:43 PM. We encourage drop off on the West side of the building and then pull around to the back of the building near the baseball/softball complex but parking is limited. Your driver can come back and park after 4:30 in our main parking lots.
Format:
This year we will once again be using Trackwrestling to run our tournament online. Seeding information will need to be entered when the window opens. If you do not enter seeding info your athletes will be randomly drawn into the bracket.
Seeding Criteria:
1. Head to Head
2. State Placer 2022
3. State Qualifier 2022
4. Returning 2022 HHS Girls Champion same weight
4. Season Record Winning Percentage
Below are the windows of time for `Statisticians` to enter information about their wrestlers
They will have until 01/18/2023 04:00 p.m. C.S.T. to enter their lineup.
They will have until 01/19/2023 04:05 p.m. C.S.T. to enter seeding criteria information for each of their wrestlers.
They will have from 01/17/2023 10:01 p.m. C.S.T. until 01/19/2023 04:05 p.m. C.S.T. to enter head to head information for their wrestlers.
Team scoring:
Will based on the activity points earned throughout the Rounds as well as the Placement points.
Activity points: Pool and Championship Bracket
Fall, Default, Disqualification or Forfeit 4 points
Tech Fall 3 points
Major Decision 2 points
Decision 1 point
Bye .5 points
Placement points:

1st- 16 points 2nd- 12 points 3rd-9 points 4th- 7 points
5th- 5 points 6th- 3 points 7th- 2 points 8th- 1 point
Weigh-Ins:
Weigh-ins will be held Friday beginning at 1:30PM. Locker room will be available after 4:05. The scales will be available at 1:00PM for all to check weight.
Please notify me as soon as possible if your team will be competing on the Thursday prior to the tournament so that I can adjust the weight allowance and notify other schools.
Awards:
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 place winners in the Championship bracket.
Please have wrestlers in uniform/warm ups for their award presentations that will be held after the following weight class has been completed.
Team trophies will be awarded for the top 2 teams based on the activity points earned throughout the rounds, Placement points.
Coaches will be voting on Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament, and a trophy will be presented to the OW.
Locker Rooms:
Locker rooms are located just below the old gym. Please bring your own soap, towels, etc. Hickman will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.
Entry Fee:
Jack Rubenstein, Director of Athletics at Hickman High School will contact each school for the collection of entry fees. The fees will be divided between the schools in attendance.
