'ATTENTION WRESTLING COACHES Ooltewah Junior Varsity Invitational Friday, December 1, 2023 Your wrestling program is cordially invited to the Ooltewah J. V. Invitational. We will conduct a traditional pool style tournament, and will wrestle on three mats, in the Ooltewah High School new gymnasium. There is a fee of $10.00 per junior varsity wrestler with a maximum fee of $150.00 per team, due at the tournament. Please make checks to ?Ooltewah High School?. We must weigh-in JV wrestlers on-site. To come close to starting by 4:30, we all need to do the following: ? Make sure your wrestlers will be allowed by NWCA weight management to wrestle at the weight class that you enter them. Last minute changes will only delay the start time which can make for a very long evening. ? All wrestlers must be listed on the NWCA weigh-in sheet to weigh-in. No exceptions. ? All weights are currently scratch weight. ? No wrestler competing in Saturday?s varsity event will be allowed to compete in this JV tournament ? If you have any changes after Wednesday at noon, then please email those changes no later than 12:00 noon on that Friday. You can also call any changes in to Alexy Winesburg at 423-635-4747. ? Please arrive no earlier than 2:45 eastern, as to let our student body leave. ? But, please arrive no later than 3:15 eastern so we can get all wrestlers weighed promptly to allow for a 4:30 wrestling start. ? Weigh ins for this JV tournament will be in our New Gym. Please enter in the North end (front) of the new gym. ? Public admission will be $8.00 per person, regardless of age. '
