Times
3:45pm - School Opens
4:15 - Coaches and Officials Meeting (MS Distance Learning Room - Upstairs)
5:00pm - Wrestling Begins
Format
Wrestlers will be grouped by weight. Coaches will weigh their wrestlers the night before and submit weights on TrackWrestling no later than 10:00 am on Friday, January 19th.
8 man brackets will be the primary format w/ wrestlebacks to 7th place. This will guarantee that wrestlers in a full 8 man bracket get 3 matches.
Round Robins will be used when appropriate.
Trainer
We will have a trainer at all home wrestling meets. We will also have ambulance service on standby.
Tickets & Entrance
Admission: $2.00 for students K-12 and $4.00 for adults. 62 and older are free. Tickets will only be available online (pre-sale and at the door). No cash sales.
Spectators may park in the High School/Wanek Center parking lot.
Wrestling matches will be in the Wanek Arena.
Team Arrival and Bus Parking
Please enter on Raider Drive off of Reit Lane (See Map Below)
For events at the Wanek Center Arena: Teams can be dropped off at the main entrance of the Wanek Center (follow the arrows on the map).
Teams will be taken to the locker rooms in the high school and/or Wanek Center and given a key.
Buses can either park near the school where players are dropped off or move to the west end of the parking lot. Please try to avoid parking in front of the doors to the high school so we can maintain line of sight out to the parking lot. Thanks!
Water fill-up
There is ice and water available in the trainer?s room located at the entrance to the high school from the Wanek Center. Water bottles can also be filled near the bathrooms and outside the Wanek Center.
