'BVAL Wrestling Championships GAME MANAGEMENT PLAN 2/8/2024 I. These Game Management Plans are presented to all visiting schools to aid in our mutual effort to promote good sportsmanship and facilitate a safe visit to our campus. II. Admission Policy Admission will be charged at this event. (B.V.A.L. determined ticket prices). $7.00 at the gate, $5.00 for Senior Citizens, children under 12 accompanied by an adult and students with ID.Ticket door will generally be open one-half hour prior to event time. Ticket sellers and takers will remain on duty all day. After the ticket booth closes, there will be NO ADMISSION. There is NO REENTRY to this event at any time without a hand stamp. III. Supervision Campus security officers will be on duty when large crowds are anticipated; however it is the responsibility of each school?s administration to provide adequate supervisory personnel. Every effort will be made to seek out the visiting school?s administrator on duty and to exchange time locations for ease in communication should some problem occur. IV. Sportsmanship All participants, coaches, school staff members and spectators are expected to abide by the B.V.A.L. Code of Sportsmanship. All efforts shall be made to promote, through action and words, the true value of sportsmanship in high school athletics. Administrators should feel free to point out, in a positive manner, to the other school any sportsmanship violations they observe or feel have occurred. V. Parking & Entrances Free parking is available in the back parking lot off of Sage Brush Way. DO NOT USE THE FRONT PARKING LOT THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO THE GYM. AFTER PARKING IN THE LOT PLEASE WALK TOWRDS THE OVERHANG BY THE FOOTBALL FIELD ENTRANCE. WALK DOWN THE STAIRS. WHEELCHAIR AND STROLER ACCESS IS THE RAMP TO THE RIGHT. VI. Locker rooms THERE IS NO LOCKER ROOM AVAILABLE. We have some ice available but not a lot. VII. Event times 2/7/24 - 7:00 Seeding Meeting start in Weight Room with coach Sanchez. ENTER FROM THE BACK LOT AND WALK DOWN THE STAIRS PAST THE GYM TO THE HALLWAY. WEIGH-INS AT 1:00 UPSTAIRS OF THE MAIN GYM 2/8/24 IF YOU ARE NOT IN BY 1:00 YOU WILL NOT WRESTLE. 1:30 Doors will open 3:00 Wrestling will start 6:00 Final?s will start VIII. Spectator Seating and Facilities All fans will enter the South Gym from the back parking lot. The bleachers will be available for seating. A concession stand will be available along with access to the restrooms outside by the vending machines. Make sure you get a hand stamp to get back into the gym.
