'```Fond du Lac High School 801 Campus Dr. Fond du Lac, WI 54935 2024 Fond du Lac Cardinal Invitational Saturday, December 21, 2024 Fond du Lac High School (Fans enter through door #25) We will be running a one-day tournament with 27 varsity and 27 JV teams participating. Varsity will be using a 32-man bracket that places all wrestlers. Medals will be give to to 5 placewinners. All wrestlers will be seeded from 1-32. Hope is that each weight class has enough wrestlers to give each wrestler 4-5 matches We will also be hosting a JV tourney. JV`s will weigh in and be placed in an 8-man championship format with hopefully three matches for all wrestlers with full brackets. No weight classes are used and wrestlers will be grouped by weights. 4-man or 5-man round robins may be used if needed at lower and upper ends of weights. Winners of each bracket will win a medal and wall chart. Schedule- 7:30am- Weigh-in(all teams need to be in small gym by 7:30am) Wrestling will be continuous throughout day on 10 mats with no breaks. Schedule- Times below are approximate Varsity Round 1 (8:45am) JV Round 1 (9:30am) Varsity Round 2 (approximately 10:30am) JV Round 2 (approximately Noon) Varsity Round 3 (approximately 1pm) JV Round 3 (JV awards will be given out after JV Round 3) (approximately 2pm) Varsity Round 4 (approximately 3:30pm) Varsity Round 5- All Placement Matches hopefully around 5pm Medals will be given to the JV champion and to the top 5 place-winners in the Varsity tournament. Champions will receive wall-chart. An Outstanding Wrestler award will also be given out. Varsity team champions will receive the traveling trophy. The JV team champion will be given a plaque and will be based on scores of top 10 scoring JV wrestlers. Preliminary seeding will be handled by www.trackwrestling.com with final seeding being done by the seeding committee. Final seeding meeting will be held at 4pm on Friday night prior to tournament. Seeds will not be released and brackets will not be constructed until after weigh-ins to eliminate scratches and those that did not make weight. Coaches need to make sure they follow the procedures and know the deadlines for lineup changes, etc.```'
