Adams City Invitational Date: Saturday, December 3, 2016 Location: Adams City High School 7200 Quebec Parkway Commerce City, CO 80022 Participants: Adams City, Mead, Skyview, Prairie View, Thornton, Ridgeview Academy, Westminster, Brighton, Mitchell Format: The tournament will be a ten team dual tournament in a pool format. Each team will wrestle in a 5 team pool, which will be followed by a cross-over championship round. Each wrestler will have up to 5 matches. Schedule: Weigh-in 6:30 Coaches meeting will be immediately after weigh-ins Round 1: 7:30 Team 1 vs Team 2, Team 3 vs Team 4 Team 5 bye Round 2: 9:00 Team 1 vs Team 3, Team 2 vs Team 5, Team 4 bye Round 3: 10:30 Team 1 vs Team 5, Team 2 vs Team 4, Team 3 bye Lunch: 12:00 Round 4: 12:30 Team 1 vs Team 4, Team 3 vs Team 5, Team 2 bye Round 5: 2:00 Team 2 vs Team 3, Team 4 vs Team 5, Team 1 bye Championship 3:30 1st vs 1st, 2nd vs, 2nd, 3rd vs 3rd, 4th vs 4th Awards: Team awards will be given to first and second place. Individual awards will be given to undefeated wrestlers (gold), and wrestlers with only one loss (silver). An outstanding wrestler will be awarded in lower and upper weight classes.
