Colony Wrestling Invitational To: Coaches, Athletic Directors, & Administrators Date: Monday, December 17th, 2012 From: Todd Hopkins, Colony High School Head Coach Cell# 715-8633 School 861-5407 Michael Boyd, Athletic Director Friday, January 4th Dual Weigh in (106=108) 3:00pm Duals Start time 4:00pm and 5:30 pm Coaches meeting 7:00p.m (Dinner provided) Saturday, January 5th Weigh-ins (106=109) 7:30am Wrestling starts 9:00am Tournament Field (Confirmed): Colony, Eagle River, East, Kodiak, Service, South (JV), Thunder Mountain, Wasilla. There will be other teams there, they have just not confirmed yet. Entry Fee: $250 for both days, $200 for Saturday only. Tournament Format: The tournament will be a 1 day tournament. Bring as many participants per weight class as you have available. We will use 32-man brackets if needed. Look at the 2012 Colony High Invitational brackets on TrackWrestling to see how a 32-man bracket works on a one day tournament. Awards: First place trophy, medals will be awarded to the top 3 place winners in each bracket. We will also recognize the tournament outstanding wrestler voted on by the coaches. Rosters: Rosters with weights will be submitted via TrackWrestling on Thursday afternoon, January 3rd. Any email will be sent with a link to add your roster.
