FROM: Doug Gordon, Tournament Director and JD Coffman, Activities Director RE: JV Wrestling Tournament The following is information regarding the JV Wrestling Tournament at Hickman High School on Saturday February 4th, 2017. Reference: Doug Gordon, Tournament Director dgordon@cpsk12.org JD Coffman, Athletic Director Hickman High School jcoffman@cpsk12.mo.us Weigh-Ins: Will be at 7:30 AM Wrestling: Will start at 9:00 AM Format: Wrestlers will be placed into one of four pools to wrestle, they will get 2-3 matches. From there they will be placed into a bracket where they will wrestle their final 2-3 matches. We will do our best to get each wrestler 3-5 matches. We will be using Trackwrestling to run this tournament. Medals will be awarded for the top three in each weight class and a team trophy will also be awarded to the 1st place team. Seeding: Will be handled by Trackwrestling. When entering your line-ups you will have an opportunity to provide information related to seeding. Below is the window of deadlines for `Statisticians` to enter information about their wrestlers You will have until from 1/30/2017 at 7:30 am 02/03/2017 at 06:00 pm to enter their lineup,enter seeding criteria information and enter head to head information for your wrestlers. ****Line-ups: Line ups should be entered on Trackwrestling. You will receive an email with a link to enter your teams. If you have extra wrestlers that you would like to be entered into this tournament I will enter them as unattached and they will score no points for your team. Send these extra athletes to me on a separate file to dgordon@cpsk12.org Tournament Fees: Hickman will send out an invoice after the tournament. Admission: Adults $5 and Students $3, Seniors are free Concessions: Will be available throughout the day Tentative Schedule: 9:00 am First round of the Pools 10:00am Second round of Pools 11:00am Third round of Pools 12:00pm Lunch 12:45pm First round of Brackets and 1st round consolation pools 1:30 pm Championship Semi-finals / Consolation Semi-Finals/ 2nd round consolation pools 2:30 pm 7th, 5th, and 3rd round consolation pool 3:00 pm 1st place and 3rd, place matches
