`1st Annual Ram Rumble Wrestling Tournament Varsity, Girl, and JV divisions GENERAL INFORMATION Date: Sat, January 7th, 2023 Time: Weigh-In?s : Varsity 7:30 am JV 8:00 am Place: Purnell Swett High School, Pembroke, NC Teams Confirmed: Purnell Swett, Terry Sanford, Goose Creek, Manteo, Christ Church Episcopal, South Florence, 71st, Lumberton (Girls Only) Format: 5 Mats. Trackwrestling. 16-man Varsity bracket individual tournament. Double elimination with wrestlebacks to 6th place. Women?s Varsity and JV divisions as well JV will be grouped into Madison weights. Seeding: We will seed as follows: State placers (during ANY season, with most recent having preference) State qualifiers (during ANY season, with most recent having preference) The 2023-2023 record based on at least 8 matches Head to head if needed to break a tie Seeding will be done top to bottom, with byes being allocated to the highest seeds Registration: Registration will be conducted via TrackWrestling. Deadline for roster submission is Jan. 6th Entry Fee: Varsity only: $150 Varsity Boys and 5 Girls: $175 JV/or Girls: $10.00 per wrestler or $150.00 for team (weight classes TBD) Prepay by Jan 1st. If not paid by the end of the tournament, there will be a $25 late fee imposed.
