2020 Liberty Middle School Classic We are looking forward to having your team participate in the 2020 Olentangy Liberty Middle School Classic January 11th, 2020. It is imperative that you read the following paragraphs to ensure an exciting and successful day of wrestling. If you have not submitted your entry fee for the tournament, please do so promptly. The goal of the tournament is to provide a safe and competitive environment against quality competition. The tournament has teams represented from all over the state; it has developed into one of the premiere middle school tournaments of the year. We expect all young athletes to conduct themselves with integrity and respect. Please be a good role model for your team. The deadline for you to enter your lineup and seeding information is THURSDAY, JANUARY 9th at 7 pm. Any team/wrestler not entered into Track by Thursday, January 9h at 7 pm will NOT be allowed to wrestle in this year?s tourney. It is also very important for you to answer ALL SEEDING QUESTIONS, not just the highest rated question for each wrestler. We will not be using any head to head information. Doors for parents OPEN 9:30 - Weigh-ins and skin checks begin at 8:00 AM in the Liberty Wrestling Center. We will weigh in by team. Coaches meeting will be at 9:15 with wrestling scheduled to begin @10:00. You will receive 3 coaches and 2 stats passes for the tourney. Any extra coaches or stats must purchase a ticket at the gate. All wrestling this year is taking place in the Wrestling Center with limited seating. There is a BB game being hosted in the main gym. We ASK ALL WRESTLERS TO PUT THEIR GEAR IN IN THE AUX GYM. NO gear will be permitted in the Wrestling Center Tournament Schedule: Saturday, January 11th 8:00-8:30 AM - Weigh-ins Scales open at 7:45 9:15AM - Coaches meeting, wrestling begins immediately after coaches meeting approx 10:00 am Four mats will be run all day. Finals should start at approximately 4:00PM. Tournament Pricing: Adults $8.00 Students $6.00 Seniors $5. Children 5 and under are FREE All wrestlers, 3 coaches, 2 stats and bus drivers will receive wrist bands at the pass gate on the northeast side of the school. Parent drivers will need to pay for their own individual entrance. Please enter through the pass gate. The door people will be instructed to send you this way and you will not be able to enter through the front doors. Everyone is welcomed to bring food and beverage to feed your wrestlers at Saturday?s tournament. As a result of the large amount of teams that participate, we have been informed by the school system that crock pots will not be allowed to be brought into the school. We will have concessions available at the tournament. We need parking for parents and spectators.
