Format:
This year we will once again be using Trackwrestling to run our tournament online. We will not have a traditional seeding meeting. Each team will have a window on time to enter your athletes and their records. In an effort to provide all wrestlers an opportunity to wrestle the most matches we will try to use a 24-man scramble format with wrestlers advancing on the second day to an 8- man championship or consolation bracket.
Wrestlers will be seeded into pools based on the criteria we have set up in Trackwrestling. The athletes will wrestle all opponents in their pool.
Seeding Criteria:
1. Head to Head
2. State Placer 2019
3. State Qualifier 2019
4. Hickman Invitational Champion or Runner-up in 2019
5. Season Record Winning Percentage
Team scoring:
Will based on the activity points earned throughout the Pool rounds, Championship and Consolation brackets as well as the Placement points. Athletes in the Consolation bracket will only earn half the activity points for their team as an athlete in the championship bracket.
