TrackWrestling information Enter Rosters This year we are using the TrackWrestling software to set-up and run the tournament. Coaches are required to go to the TrackWrestling link that was provided to you in an email from Brian Glynn and use the Username and Password assigned to enter your roster. This can be done anytime but the sooner the better as you can edit your roster up to the day before the tournament. (Many coaches have their stats girl(s) enter the information after giving them the Username and Password). Seeding As seeding is done based on information provided by the coaches, accurate information is needed. When you enter a wrestler you`ll see spots to enter Grade and Record as well as pull down menus with options to enter information such as 2013 Big Bear placing and last season`s state participation and placing. You`ll also see at the bottom a place to enter `Other Participant Information.` This is where you provide further information that you think would help the seeding committee such as `Won the Paul Bunyan last year or, `Was injured in football but is better than his record looks, Third in section two years ago.` etc. Remember, you can`t complain about seeding if you don`t provide good information. This tournament will also be using head to head competition to seed wrestlers. Coaches will have from 10:01 pm on Wednesday, December 17 until 4:00 pm on Thursday, December 18 to login and indicate the other wrestlers in the bracket that their wrestler has beaten. The wrestlers will first be placed in order using the seeding criteria above, then any wrestler that has beaten a wrestler within 3 slot(s) above him and has not lost to any wrestler below the wrestler will get moved ahead of the wrestler he beat. If a wrestler has beaten a wrestler but lost to another wrestler below the wrestler he beat, that wrestler will not be moved. Timeline Coaches have until 10:00 pm on Wednesday, December 17 to enter and/or make changes to their roster. Coaches have until 4:00 pm on Thursday, December 18 to enter seeding criteria information for each of their wrestlers if they have not already done so. Coaches have from 10:01 pm on Wednesday, December 17 until 4:00 pm on Thursday, December 18 to enter head to head information for their wrestlers. Nobody can see another team`s roster until 10:01 pm on Wednesday, December 17. Also, when you enter your roster provide Brian Glynn with any Media Contacts you use and all updated tournament information and results will be sent to those contacts. Other amenities include a Coach`s Hospitality Room, room for the cheerleader`s, and locker rooms. Again this year the 106-145 weights will start out in the Middle School and 150-285 in the High School until which point all Championship round matches are held in the high school.
