'`2020 was ordered as a pre-defined, however, 2021 was ordered as an open tournament. Snowed a lot, teams were late. Had teams weigh in on bus. Buhl was delayed. Tournament started at 9:50 instead of 9:30 a.m. Coaches would rather see pods than brackets even if it put`s us later in the evening. Split A & B Pods but put the Varsity kids in A which medal and put beginners (or freshmen) in B pods, no medals. Stopped to give lunch break by noon (for refs and tables) and to do Senior night. Started from break at 12:23 pm. By creating separate skilled pods, the bouts per hour were on the lower side because the skills were better matched in the pods. Not very many fast pins early on so started out 10 bouts an hour, but in the afternoon increased to around 14 bouts/hr.'
