Plain City, OH 43064 614-873-4642 PARTICIPANTS: Bexley, Big Walnut, Bishop Hartley, Bishop Watterson, Bloom-Carroll, Buckeye Valley, Eaton, Gahanna Lincoln, Grove City, Hilliard Darby, Hilliard Davidson, Jonathan Alder, Kenton Ridge, Licking Valley, Marion Franklin, Mount Vernon, Norwayne, River Valley, Teays Valley, Westerville Central SCHEDULE: Friday, January 21, 2022 3:30 - 4:30pm: Weigh in administered by team, by arrival time (Aux. Gym) 5:30pm: Matches Start 5 mats assigned weight classes on each mat. Trackwrestling will be used. Three rounds; prelims, first round consolation, quarterfinals. Weigh out will begin at 144 lbs. quarter final round and end 30 minutes after the last match. (Boys Locker Room used for Weigh outs) Saturday, January 22, 2022 7-8am: Skin check and Weigh in (Aux. Gym) 9am: Matches start 2nd round consolation matches, championship bracket semifinals. 3rd round consolation matches, consolation bracket semifinals, Finals. PLACEMENT: Top 6 wrestlers in each weight class. AWARDS: All Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the tournament. Top 3 teams will receive awards. Top 6 placers will receive awards. 2 outstanding wrestler awards (106-144) (150-285). GENERAL INFO: Tournament T-shirts and apparel will be available. PARKING: Everyone will enter through the Athletic Entrance at the back of the school. Buses are to park in the South parking lot. Spectators will park in the West parking lot behind the school. FOOD/ There will be NO CROCK POTS or WARMERS ALLOWED. You may CONCESSIONS: have food and/or a cooler, but there will be NO CROCK POTS or WARMERS from the aspect that we have had trouble with the capacity of electric in the past. Please let your parents know this will be enforced. TOURNAMENT We will be using 16 man brackets. Double elimination. Trackwrestling SYSTEM: will be utilized to administer the tournament.
