'Coaches- Here is some additional information/reminders for Saturday?s Boys? Regional at Moses Lake as we have had some questions. Tickets: We are limited to no more than 500 spectators, so each wrestler was allotted 3 spectators (and each coach 2). That`s exactly 500 people, so there is not any wiggle room. The schools submitted their list to me by this morning AND they have been printed for our gate help. To gain entry, a spectator must have both a valid GoFan Ticket + be on this list to get in. No other spectators are allowed. The ticket gates will open at 11:00am for spectators. Spectators will be limited to the North side bleachers only. There will not be food concessions at the event, but Rush Team apparel will be on-site for souvenir shirts and sweatshirts. COVID-19 Masks are still required by the WIAA, the Department of Health, and the Moses Lake School District. Wrestlers when competing/practicing do not need to wear a mask, or when people are eating or drinking in the commons (no food allowed in the competition venue). Please mask up and stay safe so we can get wrestlers to the Dome next week. Weigh-ins begin promptly at 10:00am in the Maroon Gym (not the ML Wrestling room as previously noted). We will also have a mat in the Maroon for wrestlers to warm-up. Coaches meeting at 11:00 am in the Gold Gym (where the hospitality room will be). Wrestling begins at 12:00 pm. We will wrestle on 3 mats in the Chief Gym. We will break down to two mats for placing and finals, and wrestle on two till we`re done. Podium/ awards + Mat Classic placing pictures will be at the conclusion of the tournament in the Chief Gym. Teams can use the South side bleachers in the gym or the commons for storage/team areas. Please be sure and review the site syllabus if you haven?t already done so.
