A Greco - Roman competitor for Germany, Frank Staebler has had a long decorated career on the international scene dating back to 2005. As a cadet, Staebler was a bronze medalist at the European championships while becoming a bronze medalist at the European championships and world championships on the junior level. Staebler quickly made his jump to the senior level in 2010 collecting a bronze medal at the granma cup in 2011. Staebler represented Germany at the world championships that same year finishing fifth. In 2012, Staebler won the European championships and finished fifth at the London olympic games.
