Class of 2022 High School Big Board

Freshmen Big Board Expanded

The list of Top Freshmen gets expanded from 50 to 100 with more data from their first regular season and their transition from JR High to wrestling in a larger pond.

And they are certainly making their mark. Over 20 of those that appear here are ranked #1 in their state's division, with a great many more in the Top 5.

State tournaments are set in Indiana and Iowa and closing in fast in other states. We'll update all Big Boards following the conclusion of NHSCA's.

Big Movers

Gavin Garcia, PA - had the second most JR High titles in PA history and is wreaking havoc in his first HS year. He lost a one pointer to returning state finalist for his only loss of the year.

Dayton Pitzer, PA - Already ranked 2nd in the state at a the big boy weight of 182.

Antrell Taylor, NE - Ranked 2nd in the state to Cornell recruit Phil Moomey. Destroying everyone else.

Brennan Van Hoecke, FL - Might be the best 113 in all of Florida already. 

Chase DeBlaere, MN - Ranked 1st in Minnesota's AA Class for powerhouse Simley.
