Wrestling in their home gym, Wyoming Seminary came up big early with wins by underdogs Benny Baker and Jack Davis. The Knights looked to be in good position until Kevin Mulligan forced overtime with a third-period takedown and a stall call on Christian Dietrich before getting the win in the extra frame.

Two matches later, when Bergen's Danny DeLorenzi (HWT) reversed Will Hilliard late, it gave him a 4-3 win and knotted the dual at 22.

It all came down to the final bout at 106 where Justin Hoyle played hero with a 4-point play that paced him to a 6-1 win.
