Grades K ? 5 Brackets 1) Wrestlers will be bracketed in a 4-man round robin format. 2) Each match will consist of three one-minute periods. 3) Each period will begin with the wrestlers on their feet. Tie Breaker Procedure Ties will proceed according to high school rules. If a second tie breaker is needed, the choice will be decided via a disc flip. Headlock Rule (K-1) Headlocks used as a takedown or as a pinning combination will be treated as a potentially dangerous hold. If a wrestler uses the position on his feet, the match will be stopped then restarted. If a wrestler is in a pinning combination and the maneuver ends up in a headlock position, pin points will be awarded (so long as pinning criteria has been met) and the wrestlers will be restarted from the down position.
