WEIGH-INS: Weigh-ins take place in the gym (8:00 A.M.)
COACHES? MTG. Held one-half hour after weigh-ins begin (8:30 A.M.) per WIAA rules. The meeting will be held in Room 303.
MATS: Three mats will be used throughout the day. Only wrestlers and two coaches will be allowed in this area. A third person will be allowed with a camera ONLY. No cheerleaders are allowed per WIAA.
MATCHES: All matches will be run in order, beginning at 106 lbs, unless a match cannot be wrestled in order to give adequate wait time between matches for a wrestler. Championship semifinals and consolation will be wrestled at the same time. All championship and placement matches will be 2-2-2.

LINEUP ENTRY:
Use the Trackwrestling online entry form found at www.trackwrestling.com. A notification email will be sent to your school
Lineups must be submitted by Thursday, February 8 at 11:59 p.m. Head-to-head competition can be entered on Friday, February 9 until 11:59 p.m.
BRING ? MINIMUM WEIGHT PRINTOUTS: copies of minimum weight printouts containing the most recent information on each wrestler that may be entered in the regional.
BRING ? WEIGH-IN SHEETS: from all meets the team participated in during the two weeks prior to the WIAA Regional Meet.
Coaches must print the weigh-in sheets from Trackwrestling for the tournament date to bring to the weigh-ins.

LOCKER ROOMS: Teams will be assigned to locker rooms upon arrival. If anyone has a female wrestler participating in the boy?s tournament please let us know.

ADMISSION POLICY: TEAMS
Actual number of wrestlers but no more than 14.

AWARDS: Plaque to team champion. Place finishers will be recognized on a podium and champions will receive a chart.
SCORING: Placement points will be awarded as follows:
16 points to the champion
12 points to the runner-up
9 points to the third place wrestler
7 points to the fourth place wrestler
5 points to the fifth place wrestler
3 points to the sixth place wrestler
Activity points will be earned as follows:
2 points for a fall, DQ, default, or forfeit
1.5 points for a technical fall (15 or more point advantage)
1 point for a major decision (8-14 point advantage)
In an incomplete bracket (anything less than eight) any wrestler receiving a bye will receive four
points for their team if they wins their next match (two points for advancement and two points
for lost potential pin). If they received two byes before their win, they will receive four points for
each bye
Advancement points will be awarded as follows:
1) Two points in championship flight competition and one point in wrestleback competition.
2) A wrestler receiving two successive byes will receive advancement points for each if they win
their next match.
3) Advancement point scoring for byes apply to the wrestleback bracket as well as the
championship bracket.
4) An advancement point is awarded to the wrestler that wins the third place match in regional,
even if a final wrestleback match is not necessary.
5) No advancement points are awarded for: Consolation Matches, Championship and final
wrestleback matches in regional, or in a weight class with only one wrestler.
LUNCH: Provided for all coaches and officials in the hospitality room. HOSPITALITY ROOM IS LIMITED ONLY TO COACHES, OFFICIALS, and TOURNAMENT WORKERS.
CONCESSIONS: There will be concessions available on the grounds. Carry in beverages are not allowed.
MEDICAL CARE: A certified trainer will be available throughout the day.
BUS PARKING: Buses can drop off in the back of the school and then park on the bus loop in the front of the
school off of Indee Boulevard.
