DATE Sunday, October 8th PLACE Clackamas Community College, Randall Hall Gymnasium TIMES PreK-8th registration 7-8:30 HS-Open Registration until 10:00 Randall Hall Gymnasium 10am Wrestling begins for elementary-8th grade HS and Open matches will start no earlier than 12:00 pm after conclusion of youth matches ELIGIBILITY Open to all competitors. Elementary ages by current grade level, High school, and Open (USA card NOT required) WEIGHTS Elementary-8th: Weight classes will be created based on weights at registration. High School: 10 equal size weight classes will be built based on weights at registration. Open:125,133,141,149,157,165,174,184,197,285 Note: Weigh ins may be done at practice, club, or onsite. All wrestlers must show up during registration time to weigh in, or disclose their weight. Weight classes are avoided to discourage weight cutting, and get a different group of competitors than you may see during the season. MATCHES Elementary-6th grade will consist of three thirty second rounds. 7th-Open will consist of three one minute rounds. SCORING Only takedowns will be scored. Five takedown difference is a pin. TOURNAMENT FORMAT Elementary-8th will be pooled based on age, weight, and grade in school and put in round robin style brackets. High school will be put into 10 equal size weight classes based on weight ranges and line bracketed. Open will be line bracketed based on college weights. ENTRY FEE $25 for pre registered athletes. $40 for walk up registration day of. AWARDS Individual awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
