Girls Division:
Please understand that we have added the girls division to try to promote girls wrestling and provide opportunities for your young ladies to gain experience. This is the second year that we have offered this division and it was in response to requests from coaches. Last year was a last minute decision. This year is a fact finding mission.
Because we have not formally promoted this division and have charged minimally for the opportunity, we are not keeping a team score this year, though we are providing individual medals.
Based on coaches? feedback following this year?s event, we will make a determination as to whether we will be offering the girls division moving forward. I have confidence we will.
