'Maryville Invitational Tournament (boys) January 6th, 2024 Maryville High School 825 Lawrence Avenue Maryville, TN 37803 Doors open at 7:15AM Weigh-ins from 8:00-9:00AM Wrestle at 9:30AM Finals typically conclude by 6:00pm Team Entry Fee - $175 per team, make checks to Maryville High School Custom Medals to top 4 Individuals Team Awards to top 3 teams. Tournament format: Individual 16-man brackets consisting of four pools of four. First place in each pool advance to place 1st-4th. Second place advances to place 5th-8th. Empty spots in brackets will be filled with extra wrestlers from teams. In the unlikely situation where a bracket has more than 16 wrestlers there will be pig tail match, and the loser of a pigtail will have opportunity to get an additional consolation match if they choose. Tournament will be run on track wrestling. Rosters and seeding criteria will need to be entered into track by coaches by midnight on Thursday, January 4th. Friday morning, I will email coaches with empty spots in brackets, and teams will fill these with extra wrestlers. There will be a seeding meeting Friday evening at the high school and via Zoom. '
