`13th Annual Crimson JV Tournament February 3, 2024
This tournament will be held at Jacksonville Middle School. It will include your
JV wrestlers or even wrestlers in your varsity line-up that need extra
experience . You may bring as many wrestlers as you like. All will be placed in a
bracket and will wrestle. Please read the format description that follows.

Location: Jacksonville Middle School.
It is located at 664 Lincoln Avenue .
It is located a short distance north of Morton Avenue.
Date: February 3, 2024 (Saturday)
Weigh-in: 7:00-8:15 AM . Teams will arrive and wait in the gym. Teams
will be called for weigh-ins in the gym.
Wrestle: 9 AM
Team Entry: Team: $100 fee per team ? due by February 3 th , 2024.

Format: The idea of the tournament is to wrestle as many matches ? up to five.
Each bracket will be run in a round robin format. Each team may have as many
wrestlers per weight class as needed. We will allow all wrestlers an opportunity to
wrestle. Each wrestling bout will be 1/1/1 minutes . There will NOT be a team
score kept
Our tournament manager will still weigh the wrestlers that morning and group by
weight, but he will work to keep teams apart ? and put similar skilled wrestlers in
appropriate brackets.
Please remember, there is NO limit to the number of wrestlers you bring ? per
weight class or otherwise. There is NO seeding process. All wrestlers are
entered into the tournament as a blind draw. All will wrestle between 4 and 5
matches.
Awards: Individual medals for 1 st Place and 2 nd Place. Ribbons will be
awarded for 3 rd through 6 th . There will not be an awards ceremony.
All medals and ribbons will be awarded as the match ends.
Mats: There will be four mats busy the entire day.
Dressing Room: There will be locker rooms (for boys and girls) where wrestlers
can dress to compete.
Concessions: Concessions will be provided throughout the day. All food and
beverages are to stay in the cafeteria only. There will be many tables available.`
