Boys-56th ANNUAL TONY IASIELLO MEMORIAL CHRISTMAS CITY WRESTLING TOURNAMENT At Bethlehem Catholic High School

Cost: $450 for a team, individuals $40 for each additional wrestler. No more than two per weight class from a team. Make checks out to Bethlehem Catholic mailed to Wrestling Coach Bethlehem Catholic High School 2133 Madison Avenue Bethlehem, PA 18017.
Weigh-in will be from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m.
There will be Thirteen (13) weight classes: 107, 114, 121, 127, 133, 139, 145, 152, 160, 172, 189, 215, 285 (plus 2).
WRESTLING WILL BE CONDUCTED ON FOUR MATS:
10:00 AM STRAIGHT THRU TO FINALS AND PLACEMENT.
Team scoring will follow National Federation guidelines. The tournament has PIAA and National Federation approval.
Tournament eligibility limited 9th to 12th grade male student athletes. No 8th grade students-No post graduates.
There will be full wrestle backs/double elimination. All consolation bouts are 1-2-2.
Teams will be permitted to bring 5 extra wrestlers. One extra wrestler per weight up to the five. i.e. A team with a full lineup of 13 may bring a total of 18 wrestlers and have 2 wrestlers at 5 weights of their choice. These extra wrestlers will not be seeded. In the event any bracket exceed 16 wrestlers there will be a random draw to determine which wrestlers will be put in the brackets. The program will count the higher scorer per weight.
We will be utilizing FLOWRESTING online registration. Information will be sent prior to the tournament to enter wrestler information and seed points for us to use with our system.
DEADLINE FOR WRESTLER ENTRY IS DECEMBER 26, 2024 5:00PM
Wrestlers will be seeded by a point system. A seeding sheet is included. Last year’s record, this year’s record and major titles, along with 2023 results in the Christmas City will be included.
