`2nd Tonee Ellis Memorial Invite @ Alvernia University Date: November 2nd, 2024 Times: Weigh-ins: 9:30 AM Wrestling Start: 11 AM Doors open: 8 AM The event will be run on 5 or 6 mats. We will place the top 4. 1st place team award. Top 3 individual awards. , Full concessions. ***NO food or drink will be allowed outside the team or concession area. Please tell your athletes that NO colored beverages are allowed, in the mat area or competition area. The track floor at the field house is a multi-million dollar new floor. Water only in the competition area. There will be a separate area behind the comp area for teams to set up their food and camps. We will NOT allow athletes to sit in the limited bleacher space. **Please tell your parents that they may and probably should bring bag chairs since bleacher space is limited. **There will be a short memorial for Tonee Ellis, one of our athletes who passed away a few minutes prior to the event at 10:50 AM. We will also be giving an IRON Man Outstanding Wrestler award at the end of the event in honor of Tonee. We will have a coaches meeting at 10:00 following weigh-ins to do some separation-type work on the brackets. We won`t be full seeding but will attempt to separate team members in early rounds and the best guys in the bracket. `
