   I would like to invite you and your team to our first annual JCS Memorial Tournament. This tournament is a preseason individual tournament for high school varsity and jv wrestlers. This tournament is held in honor of one of our former wrestlers that tragically passed during his senior year of high school to an extremely rare form of cancer. Any profits made from this tournament will go toward the family’s “Joshua Charles Shipley Scholarship Fund”, and Cancer Research. As for details regarding the tournament itself, it will be a 16 man bracket tournament and will be run on 3-4 mats. We will be utilizing our newly built gym facility for the event. Medals will be awarded for the top 3 wrestlers in each weight class. In addition, we will provide trophies to the top 3 schools in team points. The registration and event will be run through Flo.

Fee: $250 Per Team/$10 Per JV Wrestler (Price Cap: $50)

Number of Teams: 16-18 Teams

Hospitality Room & Concessions: We will have a hospitality room provided for coaches and officials. We will have a concession stand open for wrestlers and fans. 3 wristbands will be provided for each team’s coaching staff for entry into the hospitality room.
Event will be run on Flo and will separate Varsity & JV wrestlers in brackets.
Seeding & Brackets: Seeding for this tournament will be a random draw. Wrestlers from the same school competing in the same weight class will be put on opposite sides of their bracket. Teams are allowed to enter no more than 2 wrestlers per weight class.
Team Entry Check Due: Tuesday November 19th Preferred; But check can be turned in on day of tournament.
