Wrestling Coaches and ADs,
This year?s COC JH Boys West wrestling tournament will be held at Neosho High School (511 Neosho High School) on Saturday, December 14. As we approach the tournament, there are few bulleted items for you to be aware of.
An invoice and cost share sheet will be sent to each school after the completion of the tournament.
Entries will be due in TrackWrestling no later than 12:00 PM Thursday, December 12th. A reminder that there is only a scoring division at this year`s event.

Coaches meeting will start at 8:15 AM in the Hospitality room.
The tournament will start at 8:30 AM. The doors will open for spectators at 7:30 a.m.

AWARDS PRESENTED
There will be 21 weight classes in the boys tournament and each school will be allowed one entry per weight class in the boys scoring division. The BOYs scoring brackets for each weight class will be double elimination, leading to the top four finishers.
Weight classes will be: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 142, 150, 165, 180, 195, 210, 225, 285.
The tournament will be scored on Trackwrestling.com under the name 2024 Central Ozark Conference JH Boys West Championships.
Match length will be 1:30-1:30-1:30 periods. Overtime rules will be in effect.
Awards will be distributed to the coaches after all wrestling has been completed. Awards will be given as follows:
o Medals to the Top 4 Wrestlers in each weight class
o Championship plaques will be awarded.
Weigh-ins and skin checks will be conducted onsite starting at 7:15 AM.
Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for students.
MSHSAA guidelines will be closely followed.
A hospitality room will be provided for coaches, workers, bus drivers, school administrators.
Athletic training services and medical coverage will be provided by Neosho School District Athletic Trainer.

Wrestlers will obtain 2 points for a bye after they win in the next round on the championship side. Wrestlers will obtain 1 point for a bye after they win in the next round on the consolation side. No points will be earned for a bye if the wrestler loses in the next round.
