UWW Juniors, the first major freestyle event of the year outside of the senior circuit, will take place this week. It's also the first step (for Greco, the only step) on the road to Macon, France, where the Junior World Championships will occur in September.

We may not have seen the brackets yet, but who the hell cares. Have you seen the list of absolute studs coming to Vegas? It's way too hard not to speculate and anxiously discuss the potential matches that could go down during the UWW Junior Freestyle tournament.
Without a doubt, 74kg is the most top-heavy weight at UWW Juniors. There’s a lot of history between competitors, including multiple meetings in freestyle and folkstyle events.

This weekend's UWW Juniors packs quite the punch of with star-powered competitors from around the country. The tournament begins on Thursday with Greco-Roman (which will also serve as the Junior World Team Trials), and continue through Friday and Saturday with freestyle. The vast majority of these hammers are registered for freestyle, with the exception of recent North Carolina State commit Nick Reenan going Greco at 84kg. Watch all of the action live this weekend!
Although the field for United World Wrestling (UWW) Juniors at 60kg isn't complete yet, it's already looking like the weight to watch this weekend. Featuring wrestlers who have garnered accolades at the Fargo National Wrestling Championships, NCAA Nationals and even the World Championships, this deck is stacked and has the potential to get even nastier.
