Unsurprisingly, Super 32 day one did not disappoint. With over 100 ranked kids competing, some of the nation’s best were bound to fall. The biggest upsets came at 126 and 132. Arizona’s Emilio Ysaguirre has already made his mark taking out two ranked kids including #2 Jordan Titus at the buzzer in the biggest upset of the day. Before taking a loss to Lenny Pinto at Who’s #1, Rylan Rogers was the consensus #1 182-pounder in the country. On paper, he’ll be the favorite this weekend, but with six top-10 guys in the field, bringing home the belt is far from a done deal.

As the foremost high school folkstyle tournament every year, Super 32 is a great place for wrestlers to get on the radar of college coaches. This is also a great time for college fans to become familiar with their future wrestlers.
170 lbs might not be the weight with the most ranked wrestlers at Super 32, but that doesn't mean it won't be as exciting. Seven of the top 20 at the weight will be in Myrtle Beach, including two of the top-10 wrestlers.
