Not many outside of Texas knew who Jasmine Robinson was. They know now. The soon-to-be-sophomore doubled up at Fargo this year, winning both the 16U and Junior divisions, adding the OW in both divisions to boot.“I worked hard every day,” the rising star said. “Just keep pushing, keep going. I wanted this when I started wrestling three years ago.”

Junior Greco-Roman at the 2021 Fargo Nationals is, like all of the other age-group domestic tournaments this year — a little different. Pennsylvania, Illinois, Minnesota, and Iowa were the main teams being talked about for the Junior freestyle team title, but it’s actually Ohio in the “lead” after day one. I put lead in quotation marks because there have zero actual team points scored. Only All-Americans score points, but the lead is based on front-side wrestlers.
First things first, a correction from yesterday’s team race update: for the first time the scoring is not 8 points for 1st place and 1 point for 8th place, but 25-20-15-12-9-7-5-2 points placing 1-8 in that order. Since we are now through all but the finals on the front side and to the consi round of 4 on the backside, we have actual team points to tally.
Day one Fargo is in the books and now it's time for the Juniors to get started. Here are our initial thoughts on the brackets and favorite early matches.

If you're one of the thousands of people who have journeyed to Fargo for the nation's largest wrestling tournament, you just might need to know some of the best spots to hit up while you're in town. Obe Blanc has you covered with this guide to Fargo.
Because Fargo is scored solely on All-Americans (1 point for 8th place - 8 points for 1st place), we don’t have an official team score update. However, there’s a clear leader when it comes to who has the most wrestlers still on the front side and alive on the backside.
Quarterfinal winners punch their tickets to the podium and are one step closer to their goal of winning a Stop Sign on the big stage. The intensity will be high in every match, but the matches below you'll want to make sure to circle on your brackets.
