Dear Coaches,
My name is Neal Nutter and I am the head wrestling coach at Bluffton High School. On behalf of Principal Denise Garison and Athletic Director Todd Stewart, I would like to welcome you to our school. This year we have the privilege of again hosting the SCHSL 4A Lower State Wrestling Championship. We plan to take full advantage of this opportunity by hosting a first-class tournament. On behalf of the school, the community, and the wrestling program, I would like to welcome all coaches, wrestlers, and fans to the school and the tournament. As we all know ahead of time, the competition will be incredible, and the top four wrestlers will qualify for the state championship at the Anderson County Convention Center.
In order to begin planning for the event, here is a list of important dates, times, and information in regard to the tournament:
2/14: Registration due by 8:00pm. Registration is on Flo Arena https://arena.flowrestling.org/ under 2022 SCHSL 4A

2/16: Seeding Meeting @Bluffton High School, 6:00 pm, Room 1303.
Seeding Criteria for 4A Wrestling (from the SCHSL Handbook):
Overall In-state record (must have a minimum of 10 matches). Dual playoff match results will count on an individual’s record.
Head to head within 10% winning percentage.
2/18: First Day of Competition: Weigh-Ins (By Team): 5:00 pm, Wrestling: Approximately 6:15 pm
2/19: Second Day of Competition: Weigh-Ins (By Weight Class): 8:00 am, Wrestling: 9:00 am
Team Entry Fee: $100.00 per team, please make checks payable to: Bluffton High School
Fan Entry Fee: $6.00 per person, per day. Only South Carolina High School League Passes will be accepted.
Mats: We will run four mats in the main gym for both days of competition. If you have extra scorers and table workers that you can bring, they will be greatly appreciated.
Hospitality Room: We will have a fully stocked and varied hospitality room for both days of competition. We will provide wrist bands for up to three coaches/team personnel.
Parking: Buses may pull into Parking Lot A or C on Friday and Saturday. Teams will enter school through the auditorium doors and be escorted by student volunteers to the gymnasium.
