'This tournament is an archived tournament, which means it was wrestled before trackwrestling was created. Therefore, the results were entered after the tournament. Because the tournament was manually scored in 2000 a few errors in team scoring were found in the original tournament. Since we were way past the correction of errors deadline, some team scores were adjusted to match the `official` results in 2000 to accommodate for these manual scoring errors. The most common scoring error was that in brackets where there were preliminaries, ALL wrestlers who won in the quarterfinals or consolation quarterfinals were awarded advancement points as if they would have won a championship preliminary (2 points) or a consolation preliminary (1 point). They were also awarded 2 points for the win by bye. These points were not added in the automatic scoring for this tournament because we used a 12 man bracket instead of 16m so the adjustment needed to be made to get the trackwrestling automated scoring to match the final team scores of the original tournament. We also had some instances in 3rd and 5th place matches where the match could not be wrestled because one wrestler had already wrestled 5 matches. Therefore the match was determined a tie and each wrestler was awarded one additional team point for placement. This adjustment was also made in the team scoring. '
