SCHEDULE: 8:30 Weigh-In 9:00 - 10:30 Coaches Meeting 10:30 - 2:00 Preliminaries & First-Round 2:00 - 3:45 1st Round Consolation 3:45 - 5:15 Semi-Finals, 2nd Round Consolation 5:15 - 6:00 Consolation Semi-Finals & 7th Place matches 6:00 - 8:00 Finals, 3rd, and 5th Place Matches The above schedule is an approximate timetable. I am asking teams to show up promptly for weigh-ins at 8:30 and I would like to begin seeding at 9:00 for all classes that have made weight by that time. Please bring all your JV wrestlers to weigh-in. We will fill brackets up to 16 wrestlers with JV wrestlers. The teams with the fewest varsity wrestlers will have first chance to enter JV wrestlers. Wrestling will be straight through on 3 mats and we anticipate the rounds will go faster than indicated. FORMAT: Complete wrestlebacks to third place with a 5th and 7th place match. Wrestlers that have byes in the preliminaries will receive advancement points both in the championship and consolation bracket if they win their next match. There is a possibility that a wrestler going for 3rd or 5th place could be wrestling their sixth match. Since this is not allowed, place points will be determined by rule. AWARDS: Team trophies for 1st and 2nd. Individual medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Most Valuable Wrestler Award and Most Pins in Least Time. SEEDING INFORMATION: We will be using www.trackwrestling.com to enter rosters, seed the tournament, and administer the tournament.
