Locker Rooms § Please bring your team arrivals to our front door. § You will be assigned a locker room with teams in each room. We have large lockers and bench spaces. They will be assigned to you specifically by school and weight. § Bring locks and towels. § Locker rooms will be supervised throughout the day. Officials The officials for this event were hired by each conference. You will use four mats throughout the day, and three mats for the placement round. La Crosse Admission You will be stamped on arrival and receive admission for wrestlers in uniform, 4 coaches, 2 managers, cheerleaders in uniform, or team personnel you justify. You may bring in people who HELP you. We WILL HONOR Conference passes as issued by schools, but they must have them with them. Time Schedule Saturday, February 7, 2004 8:45 AM Weigh-ins 10:00-12:45 PM Preliminaries ? 40 matches Bouts 1-8 Quarters ? 56 matches Bouts 9,11,13,15 1st Round -Wrestlebacks No matches 1:30-4:00 PM Semis and 2nd Round Wrestlebacks concurrently About 70 matches Bouts 17-22 3rd Round Wrestlbacks 28 Matches Bouts 23-24 4:45-7:15 PM Finals + 3rds - + 5th & 7 Bouts 25-28 We will wrestle on four mats all day long. This time schedule should be accurate. We are making 16-person charts and seeding accordingly. All early round byes will be drawn, and then pairing occurs after that. This should only allow three or four matches at each weight in the first round. Schedule approximate. We will move rounds up if we can. Awards There are 5 medals per weight class. I have ordered awards for 5th place medals and points are set up for 6th placement wrestlers. There are 4 trophies with two per conference. Awards will be by conference with most total points receiving teams awards last. Ticket Prices There is one ticket price for the event for each group. If you arrive at 10:00 AM or 6:00 PM, the price is the same. Adults - $7.00 Students - $5.00 We will mark people with a stamp, and will empty the gym only once, just before finals. No stamp, no re-entry. Entry Fee We agreed to no entry fee for each school, and a budget that should cover all expenses from gate. Seeding This event will be on a 16-person bracket with coaches seeding input. The seeding meeting will be Friday night, February 6, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at Holmen High School. Post your records on Trackwrestling.com by Thursday, February 5, 2004 before 11:42 PM. You will have a matrix packet on Friday night. Full wrestle-back to 3rd. It is important you send someone on FRIDAY night. If you don?t agree, we can get format down then. We will have a program with complete information available for sale on Saturday. Publicity Viroqua radio will cover the event. If you have story information or publicity packets with complete information on your team, it will help them. We will fax results to the Tribune and the Wisconsin State Journal. Hospitality Room ? Coaches Only We will use Room 500 for hospitality. There will be bagels and coffee in the A.M., Subway for lunch, and pizza from Pizza Corral for supper. It will be a full day. Concessions Food and beverages will be available throughout the day. Holmen FFA and our Wrestling Booster Club have combined to provide this service.
