February 4, 2006 is the date of the FVA Conference Tournament at Kimberly High School. - Weigh-ins begin at 8:00 a.m. in Kimberly wrestling room - Seeding meeting begins 15 minutes after the completion of weigh-ins in the LGI - Competition begins at 10:15 a.m. - Wrestling will take place on four mats as long as time permits - Finals matches will be for first, third, and fifth places which will take place on three mats The FVA championship shall be determined as follows: - 1.5 points for each dual meet win - FVA tournament scoring: 10 points = 1st place, 1 point = last place - If a tie occurs, all teams tied for first place shall be co-champions Seeding Criteria - Use conference records (9 possible)-conference records at every weight class must be included - 5 match minimum to be seeded - special consideration (head to head, overall record, last year performance, etc) - wrestlers` weight class to compete in must be declared at the close of weigh-ins (as per WIAA rule) 8 man individual bracket with rat-tail matches Team point scoring (per WIAA rules)
