This year`s Coulee/MVC Tournament is being held in Westby. ------------------------------------------------- TrackWrestling Coordinator: Dennis Smalley Contact via email: smallden@westby.k12.wi.us ------------------------------------------------- Time Schedule Saturday, February 4, 2006 8:00 AM Weigh-ins 8:30 AM Coaches Seeding Meeting 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM ROUND I (5 Mats) Preliminaries ? 56 matches (maximum) (2-2-2) ROUND II (5 Mats) Championship Quarters ? 56 matches (maximum)(2-2-2) No Consolation Matches LUNCH BREAK AT THE CONCLUSION OF ROUND II (1/2 HOUR) 12:45 PM to 3:00 PM ROUND III Consolation Quarter-Finals (5 Mats)(1-2-2) Championship (2-2-2) and Consolation Semi-Finals (1-2-2) (5Mats) BREAK OF 15 MINUTES TO PREPARE PLACEMENT MATS 3:15 PM 6:00 PM ROUND IV Placement Matches on 4 mats Championship on middle mat (2) 3rd place matches on mat (1) 5th place matches on mat (3) 7th place matches on mat (4) All matches will be wrestled per weight class simultaneously. Awards to follow after the previous wt class is completed. (Example: after 112 then awards for 103 and so on) This time schedule should be accurate. We are making 16-person charts and seeding accordingly. All early round byes will be drawn, and then pairing occurs after that. This should only allow three or four matches at each weight in the first round. Schedule approximate. We will move rounds up if we can. ------------------------------------------------- Ticket Prices There will be two ticket prices for the event. Adults - $7.00 Students - $5.00 Finals Only - $5.00 any age We will mark people with a stamp, and will empty the gym only once, just before finals. No stamp ? then you will need to pay $5.00. ------------------------------------------------- Concessions Food and beverages will be available throughout the day. ------------------------------------------------- Awards There are 5 medals per weight class There are 4 trophies with two per conference. Awards will be by conference with most total points receiving teams awards last.
