Locker Room Assignments: Clinton Regional Qualifiers - Middle School Boys Locker Room Darlington Regional Qualifiers - High School Boys Locker Room Necedah Regional Qualifiers - Middle School Girls Locker Room Riverdale Regional Qualifiers - High School Girls Locker Room The top three place finishers at each weight class will advance to the State Tournament in Madison on February 23, 24, and 25, 2006. Medals will be awarded to the first three individuals in each weight classification. The Mineral Point Sectional qualifiers will be joined by qualifiers from sectional tournaments held at Bonduel, Cedar Grove, Ladysmith at the individual state wrestling championships. We hope coaches, contestants, school administrators, and cheerleaders will be a positive influence on fans and will encourage good sportsmanship at all times. The band room will be used for warm-ups throughout the day. Each school is responsible for bringing their own towels and locks. Mineral Point High School will provide supervision for the locker rooms throughout the day, but will not assume responsibility for lost or stolen items. WIAA Admissions Policy Team vehicles are to unload at the north entrance of the high school (see map). Teams or individuals will only be permitted to enter through this entrance. The main entrance will be the only access door for spectators. TEAM & SPECTATOR BUSES WILL BE DIRECTED TO A LOT WEST OF THE SCHOOL FOR PARKING. Each school shall be allowed free admission for: Head Coach, one assistant coach, each wrestler competing in the sectional tournament, one manager, and six cheerleaders in uniform. Tournament participants will be checked in at the North Entrance. See enclosed map. Others arriving with the team will be able to pay upon arrival. Only 3 coaches will be assigned badges and have access to the mat area and hospitality room. In addition, each school in the tournament shall be allowed two tickets without charge for use by school personnel as designated by the school. These tickets are included with this letter and should be forwarded to the high school principal. There will be a hospitality room for coaches, officials and workers throughout the day. Coffee, juice, milk, and doughnuts will be served for officials, coaches, and workers during the coaches meeting only. The athletic director from each participating school will be allowed free admission by calling Vickie Dahl (608) 987-2321. A ticket will be left at the main entrance and will be available upon showing proper identification. Video Taping/School Photographers/Spectator photography: A third chair will be placed at each corner by the two coaches’ chairs which must be used by someone video taping or using a still camera. Spectators may use hand-held video cameras from regular seating areas. Tripods and power cables are not allowed. WIAA ADMISSION PRICES STUDENTS & ADULTS All Sessions ........................................ $6.00 Semi-finals and wrestle-backs & ...................... $5.00 Finals................................................ $3.00 The admission price for children 6 years old and under is $ 1.00 if accompanied by a parent. Everyone who enters the facility must purchase a ticket regardless of age. No conference or senior citizens passes will be accepted. Tickets will be sold only at the main entrance of the high school. Spectators and fans arriving for or during the quarter-finals beginning at 10:00 am will be charged the All Sessions ticket price of $ 6.00. Spectators and fans arriving for or during the semi-finals will be charged according to the price listed for that semi-final session and finals of $ 5.00. Spectators and fans arriving for or during the finals will pay $ 3.00. Banners, noisemakers, stereos, boom-boxes, signs, or confetti are not allowed in the gym. NO COOLERS WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE GYM AND NO EATING IN THE LOCKER ROOMS. Concessions will be available in the school cafetorium. NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE GYM.
