1st annual Apple Cider classic January 9th and 10th 2009 Watsonville High School 250 E Beach St Watsonville Ca 95076 Dear Coaches, Welcome to the 1st annual Apple Cider Classic. The format of the tournament is a dual meet tournament on the 9th and an individual tournament on the 10th. Team awards will be on Friday only for the top 4 teams. The individual tournament will medal the top eight places and one outstanding wrestler award. We will be using trackwrestling to run the individual tournament. You should have already received your login name and password if not call me as soon as possible. ROSTER DEADLINES • You must enter your roster by the Wed, 7th. • You must have your seeding and head to head information by Wed, 7th • You may enter one wrestler per weight class. Weigh-ins: We are required by the CCS and CIF to enforce 2008-09 CIF weigh-in rules and procedures. 1. No wrestler may exit and re-enter the weigh-in area once weigh-ins have begun. 2. All Participants must have successfully completed a CIF WEIGHT ASSESMENT. 3. You must have your PRE MATCH WEIGH-IN FORM printed from NWCA online in order to weigh-in. If you do not bring this form, your entire team will be ineligible. (Alpha master reports or individual weight loss plans will not be accepted) 4. Weight classes are scratch weight + 1lb on Friday, Jan 8th. (104, 113, 120 etc.) 5. Weight classes are scratch weight + 2lb on Saturday, Jan 9th. (105, 114, 121, etc.) 6. Weigh-ins for the team tournament will be in the old gym on Friday at 11:00am. Weigh-ins for the individual tournament will be in the old gym on Saturday at 7:00 am. 7. The old gym is located on the corner of Lincoln and maple street. The new gym is across the street and will be the venue where the competition will be held.
