XXXIV SYCAMORE INVITATIONAL

Info
December 8, 2008 To: All participating wrestling coaches and athletic directors: The 2008-2009 wrestling season has started and before we realize it the state tournament will be here. The season moves by very quickly, so we wanted to give you your information on the Sycamore Invitational as soon as possible. We are very pleased that you and your team are involved with our tournament. The teams we have will make the competition here very tough. We hope the information in this packet will answer all your questions. There are a couple of new procedures this year so please feel free to ask questions. We will try to answer them as fast as we can. Please note that you will or have received an email on how to enter your team online. You will be able to make changes until 11:00pm on January 9, 2008. Scratches will be the only changes made on Saturday morning. Please call me if you are having trouble and I will walk you through the process. Once again, we will be wrestling in the fieldhouse. We have taken a few of the suggestions to improve the tournament. We feel that we have great set up to run a great tournament, but there are some strict guidelines that need to be followed. We are not allowed to have food or drinks in the fieldhouse. We will have a picnic area set up next to the wrestling area for people to sit down and eat while watching wrestling. All coolers and other food will be stored in the picnic area; we will also have the classroom in the fieldhouse for storage of the coolers. The classroom will be supervised, so things do not walk away. If people wanted to bring lawn chairs to sit in, they will be allowed in the fieldhouse. We look forward to seeing you on January 10, 2009.
