Welcome to the SCCAL tournament on trackwrestling.com, this is the league finals tournament for the Santa Cruz County High Schools and the top two placers qualify for the Central Coast Section tournament. The SCCAL teams are Santa Cruz High, Harbor High, Soquel High, Scotts Valley, Aptos High, and San Lorenzo High. After this tournament all the teams of the SCCAL come together to form 1 team for the section tournament: Seeding Meeting Notes: If the starter doesn`t make weight you can pug in the backup, if the starter is seeded you move up the seeds below him and eliminate the last seeding position. Usually seed no more the 3 of qualified. Seeding criteria: 1) Head to Head 2) Returning (state, ccs, league) placers 3) Tournament places (assessed by coaches) Ed Ferrell Inspirational Wrestler Vote; Each team will run a table at the tournament; True second place matches on Friday at Aptos at 3:30pm, day after the tournament. League third placers will be the alternates, they should attend all CCS practices, and be prepared to weigh in and wrestle at CCS. 3 scales will be at the tournament.
