YELLOWSTONE MIDDLE SCHOOL NATIONAL DUALS May 9-10 2014 This year the Cody Wrestling Club will be hosting the second Yellowstone Middle School Team Duals. This will be a 16 team dual tournament with 6 duals guarantee. USA wrestling athletic cards will be required. We will have HS/USA wrestling certified officials. When: May 9-10 Weigh in Friday 3rd 11:00 – 1:00 Where: Victor Riley sports Arena Cody, Wyoming Who: Middle School wrestlers currently enrolled in 6th through 8th grade. Maximum age of 15 in the year 2014. Must have a current USA wrestling card(please check with your state director or Dustin Morris if you have any questions about USA card). Weights: 75,80,85,90,95,100,105,110,115,120,125,130,135,140,145,152,160,171,189,250 Teams: 20 wrestlers 5 alternates coaches must have USA coaches card Awards: Team awards to top teams in A and B brackets Format: Folkstyle, 6 dual minimum. All matches will be 1- 1 1/2-1 ½ minute periods 8 mats. First 3 duals will be in 4 team brackets top 2 will advance to (A) 8 team bracket bottom 2 will advance to (B) 8 team bracket and wrestled out to finish. 2 duals on Friday starting at 4:00pm remaining duals Saturday starting at 9:00. Cost: $500/team up to 25 wrestlers(please contact if you are bringing more wrestlers per team). $100 deposit/ team due by march15st remaining balance due April 30th. No admission fees, we encourage spectators. Please no coolers in Gym. Concessions will be open. Catered lunch for wrestlers and coaches will be provided for small cost(If interested in this lunch we will need to know in advance).
