CIF Central Coast Section Girl?s Wrestling Invitational Tournament 2010 Date: February 20, 2010 Site: Independence High School Who may compete: ? Girls must have completed the Weight Assessment Program and be on the schools NWCA Pre Match Weigh In Form. ? Athlete must be eligible in accordance with school, league, CCS and CIF Rules, including the minimum 10 days of practice. ? Athlete must be accompanied by their certified school coach from their school. ? Schools may enter more than 1 wrestler per weight class/only the top placer in each weight class will qualify for team points in that weight class. ? Girls can wrestle in either the girl?s only tournament or the existing CCS Qualifying Tournament (if they qualify at their league), but not both. Weight Classes: 98, 103,108, 114, 118, 122, 126, 132, 138,146, 154, 165, 189, 235 (theses are weight classes w/o the 2lb allowance given Jan. 15th) Registration & Entry Fee: $25 per wrestler fee must accompany the attached registration form. The registration form must be signed by the schools wrestling coach and the athletic director and must be turned in by Feb. 16, 2010-see attached form. Seeding: Separate top 2 athletes by half brackets & team mates will not face each other in the first round, if possible. Time Schedule:Weigh Ins 7 am Tournament Begins 9 am Finals-approx. 4:00 pm Awards: Individual Awards 1st through 4th Team Awards 1st & 2nd Rules: NFHS Rules Book except for the adopted Weight Classes and other CIF CCS adoptions. All CCS rules apply including but not limited to sportsmanship, media etc. Coaches Passes: May be picked up at weigh-ins when the NWCA Pre-match Weigh In form is turned in.
