RE: NORTH SHORE CONFERENCE WRESTLING MEET

We are pleased to host the conference wrestling meet involving your teams on Saturday, February 4, 2012, beginning at 10:00 AM in our gym. Following is information pertaining to the meet:
ENTRIES: Fill out all necessary information on www.trackwrestling.com. Athletes may be added and deleted until 10:00 PM on Thursday, February 2, 2012. Records and head-to-head matchups may be changed after that time.

SCORING: The WIAA tournament scoring system for an eight-man bracket and six place winners will be used in the conference tournament. The conference champion will be determined based on a combination of the dual record and the tournament place. Two points will be awarded for each dual meet win; and at the conference tournament, first place will be awarded (14) points, second place, (12) points, etc.
SEEDING: All (8) positions on the bracket will be seeded, with scoring according to National Federation rules. Special rules of seeding: Minimum of (4) conference matches, 0.500 record or better, head-to-head competition in conference with minimum number of matches, greater number of NSC matches, overall record by percent in a minimum of (10) matches. Special considerations may be asked for.

ROUND TWO (3) Mats) (Round two includes both championships and wrestle-back matches.)

ROUND THREE (3) Mats (5th, 3rd, 1st place matches by weight class)
AWARDS: Individual Awards will be presented after the championship matches (103 after 113, 120, etc.). Wrestlers must report to the awards stand on time and in uniform. No hats are allowed.
Team and additional awards will be awarded at completion of the finals matches. An outstanding wrestler of the conference tournament may be chosen by the coaches. No award will be given.
LOCKER ROOMS: The wrestlers will have access to locker room facilities throughout the tournament. There is limited locker space, and wrestlers are encouraged to bring a lock to use.
ATHLETIC TRAINER: Athletic training services will be provided by Aurora Sports Medicine
OFFICIALS: Patrick Kent, James Sewrey, John Shefchik, Richard Weber
CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available for sale to all wrestlers and fans.
ADMISSION: Adults -- $4.00 Students -- $3.00
