Thunderbird Classic Wrestling Tournament Saturday January 8, 2011 Participating Schools: Adams-Friendship (V/JV) Madison Edgewood/MG (V/JV) Richland Center (JV) Baraboo (V/JV) Middleton (V/JV) Reedsburg (JV) Grafton (V/JV) Sussex Hamilton (V/JV) Sugar River (JV) La Crosse Central (V/JV) ***If we end up with seven (7) varsity wrestlers in a weight class, the wrestler with the lowest seed will be placed in the Junior Varsity tournament.*** Time Schedule: Weigh-In . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Start at 8:30 am Coaches Meeting . . . . . . . . 9:30 am Wrestling . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 10:00 am Varsity and Junior Varsity will be wrestled simultaneously with two mats for each. Wrestling will be consecutive through the first two rounds. There will be a short break after the second round. Finish time is approximately 6:00 p.m. The Junior Varsity portion of this tournament will be four-man round robin. You are asked to input your rosters on trackwrestling.com. Do not fill in the weight, this will be done by the official when the wrestler weighs-in. The Varsity portion of this tournament will be six-man round robin and we will be using trackwrestling to run the tournament. Awards: The first place teams will receive plaques. Medals will be given for the first three place winners in each Varsity weight class and the first two place winners in the Junior Varsity. Entry Fee: $140 for teams with both Varsity and Junior Varsity attending $100 for teams with Varsity only attending $70 for teams with Junior Varsity only attending. ***There will be a one pound weight allowance as Middleton is scheduled to wrestle on Friday January 7, 2011.
