The UHSAA Region 8 wrestling tournament features some of the best wrestlers and teams in the state of Utah. This year the tournament will be held at Provo HS. The itinerary: Weigh-in and Skin Check at Noon on Friday. Wrestling to start at 2:00 p.m. with two rounds of wrestling followed by 30-45 minute dinner break followed by one round of consolation only. End wrestling time estimated at 8-9 p.m. Saturday Weigh-in at 8:30 a.m. Wrestling to start at 10:00 a.m. with semi-finals and consolation followed by consolation semi-finals. Lunch break to follow. If we are ahead of schedule finals will start at 1:30 p.m. with academic all-region awards and Parade of Champions followed by the championship finals and matches for 3rd and 5th place. Otherwise opening ceremonies will be at 1:45 with wrestling to start promptly at 2:00 p.m.
