NORTH SUB-DISTRICT TOURNAMENT

ENTRY FEE:
$20.00 Per Wrestler (Non-Refundable) Make checks payable to Jackson Co Wrestling Club (JCWC).
ADMISSION: $2.00 for adults
ENTRY FORMS:
We will be utilizing www.trackwrestling.com. Each club will be responsible for inputting their wrestlers into this system. Your club contact will be receiving a user name and password by email notification once your team has been set-up in trackwrestling.com. ONLY the club contact can enter information for their clubs. The deadline for entering your wrestler’s information is March 3, 2010. NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED INTO THE SYSTEM AFTER THIS DATE. Once you have entered a wrestler into the system there will be NO REFUND even if you scratch them at the seeding meeting. You must have a Kansas Kids entry form for each wrestler, complete with all information with signature of both parent and club director. The District 1 rating sheet is enclosed in the packet. Please put a rating for each wrestler at the bottom of the wrestlers entry form in the space provided. REMEMBER 6 & under and novice records cannot be used. Please indicate all 6 and under wrestlers. Coaches must have a Bronze Card and a USA Coaches Card. All wrestling entry forms and payment must be brought to the seeding meeting on March 7th, 2010 in Wellsville or mailed to Koby Price, 20095 Q Rd, Holton, KS 66436 before the March 4th deadline OR your wrestler will not be entered into the tournament.
RULES:
All wrestlers must have a current USAW card. All wrestlers will follow all rules for USAW Kansas Kids Sanctioned Tournaments. Club directors will be held responsible for the actions of all their wrestlers, coaches and parents. Fingernails will be checked at weigh-in. As in the past, the hair rule is that it must be contained in some type of skull cap if it does not meet the criteria by the high school rule book. No wrestler will be permitted to wrestle with ANY type of communicable skin disease. Each club should have a physical status of skin form, which must be filled out by a physician and dated within the last six days along with a note from a doctors note pad signed.
Reminder that if you do not show up for the seeding meeting do not complain about the seeding your wrestler receives.
MEDALS:
Medals will be awarded to top 4 placers.
WEIGH-IN: Friday Night 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday 6:30am - 7:30 am
COACHES MEETING:
8:00 am Saturday morning
WRESTLING STARTS:
9:00 AM
No one will be allowed on the Gym Floor without a Coaches Band. Please make sure you tell your Parents.
THERE WILL BE NO FOOD ALLOWED IN THE BIG GYM AND NO SMOKING IN THE SCHOOL.
NO HEELIES OR SHOES WITH WHEELS WILL BE ALLOWED FOR ANYONE. WE WILL REMOVE THE WHEELS FROM THE SHOES AND YOU WILL NOT GET THEM BACK UNTIL YOU ARE LEAVING THE TOURNAMENT. THESE ARE VERY DANGEROUS WHEN YOU CONSIDER HOW MANY PEOPLE ATTEND THIS TOURNAMENT.

We are offering a $100 for each table your club is willing to work at Sub-Districts all day. We ask that you have 3 people per table and someone to give them breaks throughout the day. Please contact me if you are interested with what age and weight you would like to work by February 29th. I will fill the request on a first come first serve basis if I have duplicate requests. Thanks!!
