DE PERE WRESTLING MULTI-DUAL January 24, 2015 TO: All Participating Wrestling Athletics Directors, Coaches, Officials & Workers FROM: Jeff Byczek, De Pere Athletics Director (jbyczek@depere.k12.wi.us) PARTICIPANTS: Appleton East, De Pere, Green Bay W/SW, New London, Tomahawk, Sturgeon Bay, Milwaukee Hamilton, Kewaunee, Kiel, West De Pere TIME SCHEDULE: Weigh-in 8:00am Coaches Meeting immediately upon completion of weigh-ins Wrestling Begins 9:30am FORMAT: Two 5 team pools will wrestle 5 rounds for placement in their pool. One team in each pool will sit each round. The final, or placement, round will wrestle 1st place vs 1st place and 2nd place vs 2nd place, etc. We will wrestle the first five rounds on 4 mats and in the final round, all 10 teams will wrestle at the same time on 5 mats. Each team will receive a minimum 10-minute break between rounds. WE WILL HAVE ONE OPEN MAT UNTIL THE FINAL ROUND, SO IF YOU HAVE EXTRA WRESTLERS, PLEASE BRING THEM AND WE WILL ARRANGE AS MANY MATCHES FOR THEM AS WE CAN. OFFICIALS: Joe Kust, Zach Krause, Paul Hughes, Bernie LeCaptain and Miles Winkler WORKERS: Tickets: Julie Lundin arrive at 8:30 am Coordinator: Steve Allen arrive at 8:00 am Book/Clock: Abe Allen, Andrew Rossetti, Stephanie Soblesky Tim Hooyman, Matt Manders, Dan Albers, Christian Tointon, Steve Lopez arrive at 9:05 am. Trackwrestling: Dale Kratz, Leanne McDonald arrive at 7:45 am. WRESTLING: Wrestling will take place on four mats for the first five rounds and the sixth round will be wrestled on five mats. We will decide on the lunch break in the coaches meeting. TRACKWRESTLING.COM: Enter your team on trackwrestling.com as soon as we have it set up. You can enter your wrestlers until 10:00 p.m. on Friday night, 1/23. ENTRY FEE: $150 LUNCH: Lunch will be provided for coaches, officials and workers. LOCKER ROOMS: Bring your own locks and towels. De Pere High School will not be responsible for lost/stolen items.
