Thunder Classic 2010 Wrestling Tournament Saturday Dec. 4th, 2010 Westlake High School 99 North 200 West Saratoga Springs, UT Ages: Pre Kindergarten - 9th Grade Brackets: Four Man Round Robin Folk-Style Tournament. The wrestlers will be put into groups of four according to grade and weight. They do not have to make a specific weigh but they do have to weigh in with their coach and pre-register to be entered in the tournament. Awards: Everyone who participates will get a customized shirt! All champions will receive a `Champion` shirt. We will also give out second, third, and fourth place shirts. We will award Wooden `Thor` Hammers to wrestlers with the most pins in their division. We will also give out `Outstanding Wrestler` Thor hammers for the Club Coach to give to the wrestler of his choice. There must be 10 or more participants in the tournament from the club to qualify. You must prepay with a credit card while pre-registering. Sanctioned Event: This is a USA Wrestling sanctioned event. You must have one of the following: 1) A USA Wrestling National Card http://www.usawmembership.com. This gets you into all league events as well as freestyle events for one year. The cost is $37.00 or 2) A Utah League Card www.trackwrestling.com/tw/registration/BasicPreReg1.jsp?tournamentGroupId=1454009. The cost is $10.00 for the league season. Weigh-Ins: They must be conducted by the coach either Thursday or Friday evening after practices. The Coaches have until 9:00 pm on Friday night to enter the weights onto the Trackwrestling website. Coaches who are conducting weigh-ins need to email Cody Burdett (cburdett@alpine.k12.ut.us) so he can give you the log-in information to enter weights. Deadline: Pre-registration closes at 1:00pm on Friday, December 3rd. Weigh-in submissions end at 9:00pm on Friday, December 3rd. No late registration or weigh-ins on Saturday, December 4th. Directions: A quick 10 minute drive from I-15. Take exit 278 in American Fork and go west on Pioneer Crossing. Turn left at Redwood Road and right at Pony Express Parkway. Divisions: 7th-9th Beginners, 7th - 9th.
